Weather for First Responders

This specialized course equips law enforcement officers and first responders with essential weather knowledge to enhance operational safety and decision-making.

Participants will learn about radar imagery, severe weather alerts, and how to interpret forecasts; gaining the skills to anticipate and respond to rapidly changing conditions.

An emphasis is placed on real-world scenarios, such as storms, wildfires, flooding and extreme heat or cold that directly impact public safety operations.
