About
This 8-hour presentation and workshop will teach negotiators how to move beyond basic de escalation and active listening to craft communication themes that resonate with a subject’s core values, fears, and motivations. Through a step by step framework—covering intelligence gathering, motivation analysis, theme creation, implementation, and adjustment—participants learn to build trust, influence behavior, and guide crises toward peaceful resolution.
Advanced techniques in empathy, cultural/contextual adaptation, and team collaboration are highlighted, culminating in a practical table-top exercise where students apply their newly acquired skills in a realistic negotiation scenario.
